LETTER FROM CHARLOTTE

Dear Friends.I am running a 10K fun run on May 22nd in Kent in memory of Mark. I am raising money for the Bristol based charity Above and Beyond. As some of you know Mark and I were only married last April. Mark was very well and extremely happy on that our perfect day. He suddenly became unwell not long after our honeymoon and was sadly diagnosed with bowel cancer in early August. Mark and I travelled to Bristol where Mark was under the care of a fantastic team of doctors and nurses. Very sadly this awful disease took over and in September last year my dear husband and best friend passed away

I feel passionate about raising money for this wonderful charity. The charity is unique in the way it is structured it holds separate funds for each ward and department within the hospitals in Bristol. Your donation money will go specifically towards research projects into colorectal cancers. Mark was cared for by a fantastic team of doctors who also spend time doing research into this dreadful type of cancer.

NOW IS THE TIME TO SAY...

Please keep 10 a.m. Sunday 10th July free in your diaries. This will be Kerry & Eunice’s last Sunday morning with us in HARVEST, in their current capacity, and we will use that occasion to say ‘thank you’ to God for all that we have shared together.

Our plan is also to hold a farewell celebration evening during the week of 6-8th July for us to mark in a suitable way Kerry & Eunice’s moving on to their wider ministry in the Canterbury Diocese. Date Venue and Time to be arranged.
